Bike Macon Hosts Halloween-Themed Bike Ride

MACON, GA – Bike Macon is excited to announce its first official Bike Party event. On October 23rd, the group will ride through Macon, GA dressed in Halloween costumes. Bike Party is an event intended for riders of all ages and levels who would like to experience more of Macon in a fun, safe, and social way.
The group, departing from Oak Haven Park, which is located at the corner of Oak Haven and English Ave. will set out to complete an approximately 8-mile festive ride, with a party pit stop with free pizza, live music, and a costume contest at the Macon-Bibb Parks and Beautification Office located at 327 Lower Poplar before returning to Oak Haven Park at 7:30 PM for Family Movie Night Featuring Beetlejuice, a community event hosted by Vineville Neighborhood Association.
“Bike Macon is proud to partner with Macon-Bibb Parks and Beautification and Vineville Neighborhood Association to connect citizens from different neighborhoods and introduce them to two unique spaces they may not know exist,” said Bike Macon Leader Rachel Hollar.
A map of the complete route will be available at bikemacon.org/bikeparty24 hours before the ride. Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point.
