MACON, GA – Bike Macon is excited to announce its first official Bike Party event. On October 23rd, the group will ride through Macon, GA dressed in Halloween costumes. Bike Party is an event intended for riders of all ages and levels who would like to experience more of Macon in a fun, safe, and social way. The group, departing from Oak Haven Park, which is located at the corner of Oak Haven and English Ave. will set out to complete an approximately 8-mile festive ride, with a party pit stop with free pizza, live music, and a costume contest at the Macon-Bibb Parks and Beautification Office located at 327 Lower Poplar before returning to Oak Haven Park at 7:30 PM for Family Movie Night Featuring Beetlejuice, a community event…

Friday, October 23, Family Movie Night! Bring your picnic baskets, blankets, folding chairs, and join the Vineville Neighborhood Association for an outdoor movie night. This event will start at 7:00 pm (movie starts at 7:30 pm) at Oak Haven Park. This event is free and open to the community. Parking is limited; please consider walking or biking to the park. The Historic Vineville Christmas Tour of Homes will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6 This year’s tour of homes will showcase bungalows and cottages in the historic Vineville neighborhood. With the purchase of a homes tour ticket, a tour of The Big House and Allman Brothers Band Museum is included. Click here for full information, including ticket ordering.

          Please come enjoy the very first Star Wars flick with the Vineville community. This movie originally released on May 25, 1977 has become a pop-culture phenomenon. Star Wars is a great movie to share with family and friends as we all await the new Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, which has a planned release date of December 2015. Family Movie Night Star Wars! This year the Historic Vineville Neighborhood will host the Hay House Spring Stroll 2015. Volunteers are needed for this wonderful event in our neighborhood. All Vineville Neighborhood Association members are invited. Not a member? not a problem, you may join at this event.

Saturday, February 7th, 9-10 a.m. Meet at the corner of McDonald Ave. and Buford Place. Please bring gloves, trash bags, rakes, brooms, shovels, trimmers, edgers, battery operated yard equipment and lots of energy. Come join us! It is always a good workout, great fellowship with your neighbors and a wonderful, positive service to the neighborhood. We hope to see you there!

Join us for our annual meeting of the membership. Find out what exciting things the VNA has planned for the coming year while enjoying a meal with your neighbors. Attendees will choose a new VNA logo to decorate the banners delineating the historic district. Please come and be a part of this important decision!
